Who doesn’t love to chow down on a delicious waffle for breakfast? Adults and kids alike have enjoyed this classic morning fare for decades. However, if you’re someone who tries to stick to a healthy diet, a traditional waffle poses problems. The processed flours, refined sugars, and other unhealthy ingredients won’t do any favors for your well-being. Fortunately, Swapples, creator of the Fruit and Veggie Waffle, heard your cries for a truly healthy waffle.
Wholesome Ingredients in Every Waffle
Each Swapples Fruit and Veggie Waffle variety contains only 6 ingredients or less. These wholesome waffles use only whole fruits, veggies, and spices to create a delicious, yummy flavor. Swapples are free of dairy, eggs, and grains of any sort. Paleo and vegan eaters rejoice! Furthermore, Swapples are free of the following major allergens:
- Tree Nuts*
*Contains Coconut Oil and is processed in a facility that uses tree nuts.
The main ingredient, a vegetable tuber called yucca, provides a distinctive crisp to each waffly bite. What’s more, the yucca contains numerous health benefits, including digestive and immune support. Swapples then adds coconut oil to give each waffle some heart-healthy fats. Top it off with your favorite protein-rich nut butter and you have a nutritionally sound waffle.
