You want your dry tomatoes to carry a flavorful zing! Use all your favorite seasonings. Be a non-conformist and choose the herbs your palate likes best. Here’s our idea of what tastes good.
Preheat oven to 225 degrees. Wash 8 to 10 organic Roma tomatoes and slice into 1/4″ slices lengthwise. Spread on a large cookie sheet greased with organic olive oil. Choose a flavorful natural olive oil with a bit of a “bite”.
Drizzle on top with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic granules, oregano, parsley, salt and pepper to taste. Bake for three to six hours. Let cool. Serve on toasted, crusty Italian bread, in salads, etc.
